About
Amstelwijck Advice bv is the legal entity for services rendered by Jasper P. van Ouwerkerk. Typical services include Advisory/Supervisory roles, minority investments, and executive coaching. Clients are primarily scale-up companies, privately/family owned growing companies, and PE. However, also larger public companies and partnerships are being supported.
Advisory/supervisory roles
Qualified advisory roles – both formal and informal. For 15 years, Jasper was ‘strategy’ faculty in the Supervisory Board Academy in Lauswolt – 6x/year a group of 25 experienced board members (from the top 300 in The Netherlands) would gather for sessions by law firm De Brauw, accountant KPMG, executive searcher Egon Zehnder, and consultant McKinsey & Company. Jasper knows how to challenge when circumstances allow, and when to support leadership when circumstances are dire.
strategic counseling & challenging
Jasper has 23 years of experience in strategic counseling, mostly in services industries (financials, telecom, retail, energy, Public Sector) and in PE (wide variety). Jasper led the global Service Operations practice for 15 years, the largest service line of McKinsey & Company during this period. Jasper also led McKinsey’s pricing committee, negotiating the Firm’s largest programs, and in that role was part of McKinsey’s leadership team in Europe for 6 years.
executive coaching
Having counseled leaders across a multitude of sectors, Jasper understands what it takes to translate intent into impact, and what this asks of leaders. It is fair to say that this focuses more on the needs of the organization, than on the individual needs of the executives. However, as a McKinsey partner evaluator and practice leader (with ~150 partners and their teams), the personal development of individuals has always been close to Jasper’s attention.
